Consulting startups is a passion for me, and advising other makers, artisans, crafters, bakers, growers and all of those creative entrepreneurs who ‘make’ things has become my favourite place in the wide open sea of the business consulting world. Building a social enterprise that is as impactful as impressive.
A problem surfaced that I cared about. The massive candle waste issue I became aware of desperately needed to be addressed and in parallel, I realized that the artificial candles I was bringing home from the mall were harmful for my family to breathe in. So to solve both of these problems, I started making all-natural, zero-waste soy candles using recyclable glassware. Our mission is to create awareness about the fact that ‘old jars’ from candles are going into landfill – not being recycled like I had thought. Now this family business is a social enterprise that prioritizes impact + allows us to create hand-poured, luxurious candles for all the cozy rooms you love to live in.
